Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Louisiana

Property Damage

We stayed at a hotel. And the next day we noticed the window was broke. I told them we didn't do it. But they just charge my card a $1000.00. And we didn't do it. I even called the desk to see if they knew about it. What can I do? They said we did it being rawdy. I am 55 & my husband is 54. rawdy is not in our life style. By because we were helping with a harley rally they labled us. I wouldn't mind paying for this window if we broke it but we didn't.

Re: Property Damage

Probably too late, but call your card company and dispute the $1,000. Tell them you do not owe it and will not pay it. Then if the hotel thinks you are liable, they can sue you. Of course, don't expect to stay there anymore.
