Legal Question in DUI Law in Louisiana

DWI probation

I got probation for a dwi in Louisiana and have to take a drug screen. If i fail the screen, will i just be subject to further screens till i test clean or will they revoke my probation and put me in jail?

This all depends on your probation officer and the judge presiding over your case.

Some probation officers will revoke you on your first positive drug screen while others will give you a chance to clean up.

I read Mr. Louque's response and must add something.

It also depends on what you do. If you get serious about treatment after this positive test (like getting real substance abuse treatment) the judge will probably be more generous than if you continue abusing substances.
