Legal Question in Education Law in Louisiana

I have a serious situation on my hands...my son which is 10 and also bipolar, has been suspended twice already, and after having a conference with the teacher and principal, the 1st thing the teacher wants to know is what about his medicine...i explained to her he has had serious side effects with the medication so he isn't on any. Since the conference (which was sopposed to be about helping him when he hits a low at school, how they can help him) i was told they couldn't do what i was explaining...i told them that they didn't want to help him then...shortly after he hit a low at school and it got really bad...evidently it was alot of anger and hollaring...the vice principal decided to "restrain" my son and my son started swinging his arms trying to break free (its alot worse when he is restrained)...and accidently hit the principal...1st off i really didn't feel comfortable with the principal restraining my son, and since then he has gotten suspended for 3 days...he took the suspension and we discussed everything about what happened...since then the school has called me several times in the last week while i was at work saying "your son is in trouble again" or "he is sick" this week i have been called everyday...and today was the breaking point...my son hasn't been wanting to go to school...i figured something was going on making him not want to go...well today i got a call saying your son as been suspended again...evidently the vice principal says "he was yelling in class and the teacher sent him to the office and i suspended him"...my son said a girl in his class wouldn't leave him alone and he said loudly "leave me alone" and thats when the teacher sent him to the office...the vice principal called me and we exchanged words...but this is really getting to me...seems like the staff is "harrassing" or "picking-on" my son...and i'm fed up...i shouldn't be at work worrying about what the principal or the teacher is telling my son or whats going on at school that makes him not want to go to school...and i'm being harrassed by the faculty at school for nonsense or because my child was labeled a bad child at the beginning of the school year, and they deem to stay the bad child until they get out of that school...needing some legal advise on this matter...if this keeps up, i will have to go to court for them suspending him so much and missing so much school because of it, and my job is also on the line...something has to give! please help what do i do when the teacher and vice principal is harrassing my child?

You need to make an appointment to speak to the school board to register your complaints and to see what alternatives might be available.
