Dear LawGuru Friend,

Your question is simply :whether or not you

have to do what she wants you to do, and the

answer is NO. So long as you don't abuse her

verbally or physically she cannot make you leave the

home any more than you can make her leave it.

Also, the car is community property and you and

she own it equally, even though it may be registred

in your name. If you would like to discuss this

matter further at no charge, call me on my cell

phone at 337-377-6086, and/or e-mail me your

name and phone number to me at [email protected],

and I will call you on the regular phone line.and

discuss your situation with you. Good luck!

Sincerely,

Hardy Parkerson, J,D.
