adoption

how do you know if a private adoption is legal after 7 years since no court was involed. And the child lives with the biological mother now. But the adoption mother is trying to take her back. but papers where never filed in court house and a judge never signed it

There are very strict laws concerning adoption. If there was no Judgment of Adoption, then there is no adoption.
