Divorce, child custody
I have a friend that also lives in La, and wants to know if the custody papers his wife has is still legal since they got back together and are living in the same residence. He wants to leave her and take the kids and get a divorce with him having full custody. How can he do that?

NEVER assume that a Judgment is no longer binding on the parties. He should go to an Attorney in his jurisdiction, presumably the same Attorney who represented him previously, and discuss his options. Do not take the children without clarifying his situation.
