divorce/ child custody

after my husband and i divorce can i move out of state with my son or can i move out of state now? I know in louisiana we have to wait a year to file for divorce but if he put me out can i file for divorce sooner and if he threatened to hit me adn i never fioled a police report can i file for divorce sooner?

You can file for divorce now and wait one year after your husband is served.

If you want to move out of state, you must give your husband very detailed notice of your intentions, and he has the right to object.

It is best if you retain an attorney if you anticipate custody and relocation issues.

You can file now but you cannot get your divorce any sooner from the facts you give.
