Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My husband purchased our house before we got married. After we were married he took out a loan on the property which I co-signed when he faulted on the loan, the bank put a lien on the house. If my husband dies will I have to sell the house to pay the lien? I live in Louisiana.

Unless you are on the deed, you cannot sell the house.
