Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am married to my second wife who is a great mother to her children, a teacher in the parish with a great reputation and her ex husband decides he doesnt want his kids around me and filed for full custody and put rumors on the petition with no evidence.. Is that possible for him to be rewarded full custody?

Anything can happen, but he burden is very heavy to not only change the domiciliary status and even heavier to gain sole custody.
