moving children from one state to another by mother

if children are moved from Il. to La. by mother can they be made to go back. Mother has custody of the children. Can the father force the mother to move back to his area?

Much depends on the original state of the judgment. Many states have relocation statutes that require certain procedures prior to moving. If the statute does exist and it has not been complied with then the child can be required to return to homestate.
