Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I'm question is about childsupport. On 5/11/2012, i found out that there was a garnshiment order placed on my check, garnishing 50% of my check. I contacted the childsupport office and they stated that an ex-fling place childsupport charges on me years ago without my knowledge. I didn't established paternity in any way. The worker told me that she sent out two petitions at my old address, but i was no longer living there. I'm not sure of paternity, what can i do ?

You can file a petition for disavowal of paternity. Both you and the child will have to undergo DNA testing. You need an attorney because if there was not proper service either execution upon you or a curator, you may not owe the past due support.
