remove his name from my property
I received money from an accident I was in-My husband and I were already separated, but because of a community property state and we were still legally married he had to sign the deed. He got a now fault divorce and the property separation was not part of the divorce settlement. I would like to have his name removed from the deed. He has not contributed any finances in maintaining this home, he has not spent one night in this home. Nothing about this home is in his name. The money I received was for pain and suffering only. I continued to work after the accident. I have tried to talk to him about signing off on this property, he refuses. I do not want anything from the house we lived in during our marriage which is a different house. what can I do
