Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

who's responsible?

I am a ncp father and in 98 I was order to hold insurance on my kids. I have always held insurance on them til recently due to downsizing of hrs @ my job. But, there have been since then 3 oders from the judge just stating if available thru my employer, I am only working PT and my ex have a full time job in Sulphur,La and I know she would have it thru her job.1. Could I go back to court w/ the help of an atty and ask that she hold her own insurance & I hold my own. 2. and if the last(3) court order does not specify who hold what do I go with the last(3) orders or the divorce decree from 98? any explaination would be helpful?

Re: who's responsible?

Yes, you can take, but not sure why you would want to since subsequent court orders changed the original order that you provide insurance. Whatever you do, you need to get your kids covered. Also, the court will not be too happy with you working only part time.
