I live in Louisiana, I sent my mother $1000 to pay bills for me in Georgia. I put the money on a Wal-mart green dot card which I later found out was a card my brother gave my mother to use. Well my brother’s wife had a joint card with the one my brother gave my mother and she spent the money. I have my receipts show when and how much I put on the card as well as an email from my brother’s wife saying she would pay me back the money she spent. It’s been over a month now, can I sue her or is there anything I can do to get my money back?
