Legal Question in Immigration Law in Louisiana

I have a woman that was going to visit me she is from brazil on a tourist visa.She wanted to get married i want to know if this is ok or is there a better way for her to come here and stay?

You will want to set a consultation when the two of you can both speak and ask questions for planning purposes. If she is now here in the US and had not planned on marrying when she entered the US on a visitor visa she may now be able to remain and marry and adjust status.

It is never a good option to marry someone just for a greencard. Unless this is going to be a legitimate marriage, I would say that it is not okay to do so.

There are work and study options that might possibly be available to her. I suggest she meet with an experienced Immigration Attorney in your area once she arrives in the U.S.
