Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Louisiana

My current attorney is working with my ex-wife's attorney to work out a deal which gives her more visitation than she currently has. In the process of this he has sent me a copy of the papers that were drawn up which i asked for a few modifications. The next day he sends me a copy saying "This is what I sent to the judge" and it was completely different and in no way the modifications that I asked for. Shouldn't he have sent me a copy to review before signing anything, let alone sending it to the courts to get processed? I do not agree with this and personally consider this to be extremely unethical. Would this be something the BAR Association would take seriously once it's brought to their attention?

You are the client and should review everything and agree to it, preferably signing any agreements prior to submission to the court. Unless, the court has made a decision and the attorneys are merely reducing that decision to writing.
