Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Louisiana

I reported abuses in my industry as required by the state board that governs my profession. The COO and the chairman of the board guaranteed all reports would be confidential. The board, after receiving my report, in which I named names, circumstances and companies I alleged were involved, sent the report to their entire mailing list via e mail. Do I have recourse?
