Legal Question in Personal Injury in Louisiana

injury due to accident

I was diagnoced with chemical induced asthma after a chemical release accident. This happened about 11 years ago. The company paid for all visits and treatment while I was employeed with the company. I have since moved on but since then have had many problems with my breathing. Have had to take inhalers to get relief. The Dr. last gave me the strongest he could and seemed to work.

The question I have is, is this a legitament case to take to court. I don't know what the future holds for my health. I am doing fine but I can not be around any smoke or anything that will irritate my lungs. When I do I seem to keep a cough for a good while.

Thanks

Re: injury due to accident

From what you wrote, it appears that your right to "sue" has prescribed. However, you should sit down with an attorney so he can ask you all the necessary questions. If you are still being treated and the company is still paying for it, you may have a comp claim.
