Legal Question in Product Liability in Louisiana

law suit over previously sold new construction home.

We had a home built for us that is currently 3 years old. 1 year ago on may 1st we sold the home. The home was built by a licensed contractor, who has moved out of state. While we were living there, a couple of time the shingles came off the roof.He sent someone out to fix the problem. He made us mail the shingles to the shingle co to see if they were defective. they were not defective. It said they were improperly nailed. The contractor said he hired a new person to come out and fix everything that was wrong.Someone did come and supposedly fix it.We know nothing about a roof. When we sold the house on the disclosure form, we originally had checked unknown on several of the questions asking if there was a current problem that we knew of. because again, we did not think so, but we did not want to say no and have this haunt us. the realtors made us change the answers to no. so we did. now the new owners are suing us, b/c the shingles are falling off of the house. I do not feel that we are responsible for this and it is not our fault. I have contacted my ins co for defense. they are also being sued. i feel the contractor and roofer are liable, being they told us the roof was fixed. advice?should my ins co defend me?
