Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

my father died without a living will and has left behind property that was inherited to him by his parents how do I get proof that the property is inherited and does inherited property go to his widowed wife even without a living will or does his children automatically qualify as owners of the property? This is in st. martin parish Louisiana

Without a will, a father's property goes to his children. Depending on the property, it may be subject to a usufruct, but it is definitely separate property (not community), as inherited property is always separate, even if you are married when you inherit it.
