Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

New Home Contract

I signed contract(s) with a new home builder but have heard lots about shoddy quality of their homes. Can I get out of my contract -- my house is in the process of being built. With upgrades, I found the house to cost more than I think it's worth. Do I have any recourse?

Re: New Home Contract

You need to take the contract to an attorney and let them look it over. The contract is the law between the parties, and if you do not have grounds for voiding the contract within its pages, then you are probably out of luck.
