lien on home
my home sold in a short sale a couple of months ago.New owner wants to sell and realized a lien for$1928.00 was put on it(after closing)by the parish for grass too long.i am in wa state had no idea .he wants me to pay it..what should i do?thanks

The lien was put on the home after closing, then it is the new owner's responsibility to pay the lien.

It depends on what the act of sale says. Seems like that should have been uncovered in the abstract and mortgage search.
