Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

property division

My father died without a will and was remarried at time of death. we have inherited the mothers share of the property. I have had a dispute over property and my father personal belongings distribution. At first the elder child in the family was granted power of attorney for all 7 siblings but i have since then revoked my share of the power and now retain power of attorney along with my older sibling who represents the remaining siblings. The other siblings want to sell the property to someone I have a disagreement with. what are my options. can i hold my ground and not allow the property to be divided and be sold until i am satisfied. I believe they can force division throught the courts but i am told that at this point my voice in this matter is null and they will do what ever they want. and I have no say..Please advise as to my options..Thanks
