Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana

sexual harrassment

my daughter works at a parish correctional facility. Her lieutenant has made a few gestures and remarks and is getting bolder. He called her to a place that was not monitored by cameras and pulled her to him. He later apologized and then in the same statement threatened her if she filed a complaint. She went to her warden and filed a complaint. They have now changed her shift so that they can investigate. With this shift change she now has to work Christmas day. She has two small children. It's like they are punishing her for it. How many days do they have to do an investigation? What should she do?

I'm worried that they will try and find a reason to fire her.

Re: sexual harrassment

Your daughter should contact an attorney immediately. Everything that happens from the time she reported the Lieutenant is a potential issue.
