how long do you have after purchasing a vechile to get a new inspection sticker?

I am assuming you bought the vehicle privately (and used) because most dealers would have the vehicle registered and inspected as part of the sale.
You should do the following things as soon as the vehicle is purchased in the order listed:
1. Insure the vehicle;
2. Register the vehicle; and
3. Obtain an inspection sticker.
