affidavit heirs
My wife died July 4,2009 she had no will. She has two surviving daughters of Virginia.She has a checking account of about 1,200 in it. How do I get the funds out

You will have to open a succession and include the two daughters. The property may be community property but you will have usufruct over it (you will be able to control and spend the money). With the succession costs and attorney fees, I hope that there is more property or the net amount may be very low.
