Father of my 2 childrens deceased
How can I or my daughter find out if they are part of the family's inheritance of property that was left to their father? Who is entitled to get his part since number one,he was suffering with mental problems,and then he died of diabetes.After years of searching I finally found his sisters,one of them would never let me contact her. The sister that lives in same town, accidently and said my two kids maybe able to draw money from property left by the grandfather in La, then later she said by grandmother,how can we find out?The family is now dodging us,but I was told they draw money every 3 months from property.

Contact a lawyer in or near the community where the grandparents lived. It will take research into what is there and if successions were ever opened.
