proper legal procedure
i am a single parent and a homeowner prior to getting married. my wife is not named on the morgage, i would love for her to be an heir to my estate in the event something would a happen. what legal route should i take to ensure their security in this matter.

Contact a lawyer and have your will written according to your wishes. While Louisiana does have forced heirship for children under 23 (and wanting to include your wife does not necessarily mean you want to exclude your children) there is still great flexibility.
