My Grandfather owned land in DeSota Parish,LA. I was named in his will, somehow I was left out of any and all claims to this property by my stepmother and the lawyer for the estate. What is the statute of limitations in Louisiana for filing a dispute over the forced heirship laws in this state???

You'll have to contact an attorney in Louisiana, preferably in DeSoto Parish, for assistance. We don't have 'forced heirship'laws in Texas. You may have an action, if your grandfather died in Texas and left a Texas will, against the administrator or executor of the estate. Without knowing the exact cause of action, the shortest time would be two years from the time you discovered, or should have discovered, the wrongful act.
