stepchildren's inheritance

scenario- father married years ago. lady had 2 teens at the time. he bought house shortly after they were married. lady passed away several years ago. father recently passed away. who does the house go to? do the stepchildren have any rights to inherit the house or just the father's natural children?

Assuming neither had a wall, your father's share would be evenly divided among his children. Your step-mother's children would evenly divide her half of the home.

If either had a will, this changes everything.

My answer is based upon your comment that the house was bought after the marriage and assume there was no prenuptial agreement or agreement in the mortgage documents that the house was the separate property of one of the parties.
