Will

In the state of Louisiana, does a divorce and remarriage make a holographic will null and void if there was no other will ever written?

Re: Will

In Louisiana once a valid will is executed, divorce nor remarriage does not affect its validity. If the will was valid before the divorce or remarriage, the will is still valid following the divorce or remarriage; and this applies to an holographic will, as well as to any of the other forms of wills in Louisiana.
