Legal Question in Workers Comp in Louisiana

Earning any money while on workers comp
I am receiving workers comp benefits for a back injury. While taking my son since he is a minor,to a try out in our town for a national movie, they asked me if I would like to be an extra in the scene. All I have to do,they said, it stand or sit. While I do have trouble doing both of these for extended periods of time, I would like to try it, and if I have trouble go lye down. I would love to have the experience of us being in it together, but it's not worth messing up my situation. They pay only $50 for the one day of work. Is this illegal to earn the income, and also if they find out, is it wrong to do if I am able to take it at my leisure? It's not like being committed at work as a nurse.
