Legal Question in Disability Law in Maine

Is it illegal take advantage of someone who is distraught, or depressed and get them to do something they wouldn't ordinarily do? I do know it is immoral, but is it illegal?

It depends on what they do. If it involves a financial transaction, it could be invalidated. The concept is called "undue influence."
