Foreclosure

Real Estate was awarded to one of the parties in a divorce agreement. Is the other party still responsible in a later foreclosure lawsuit?

The Divorce allocated the rights and responsibilities between the parties but did not "undo" or otherwise affect the rights of the creditor to hold both parties to the terms of the original note and mortgage.
