In a case for example State of Maine vs soso (defendent) can the defendents lawyer block a supeona that the State has supeona'd a witness to testify against the defendent?

Myself and children have been supeona'd by the State to testfy in a case and the defendent is threatening to have our subpeonas revoked.

Re: criminal case

Whether the defendant will be able to do this will depend upon the facts of the case, the nature of your (and your children's) relationship to the case and to the defendant, and upon how the subpoenas were issued and served.

If you want to testify, even a successful challenge to the subpoenas might not prevent you from doing so. You should discuss your concerns with the prosecutor if this is your situation.

On the other hand, if you and the children would rather not testify, you may want to get your own lawyer and discuss your options with her.

Good luck.
