how do they picka jury?

I was wondering what all the aspects of picking a jury are so I can include them in my report for law class?

I'll give you a couple things I do and I'm sure other lawyers can tell you much more. These pertain to criminal trials as that is almost the only type of case I take to trial. I look for jurors that are similar in age and attitude to my client. There is never a perfect match here, but the closer the better with attitude. I also look for people who don't have rigid belief systems. I want jurors who can be open minded enough to listen to my case as well as the prosecutor's case.
