Legal Question in Family Law in Maine

Parental Alienation Syndrome

Going to sue for custody of my son and ''PAS'' will be an issue I want to address agressively. I presntly live in Massachusetts. My ex and son lived in Maine from Jan 01 - Feb 05. Feb 05 she and son moved to Arizona. She is now moving back to Maine after less than one year.

She is a flight attendant and away from home alot. I always have issues with how she holds him over my head and constantly changes my time with him. I read through an article on ''PAS'' and I believe she fits it right to the ''T.''

How should I approach this?

Thanks!

Re: Parental Alienation Syndrome

There are many ways to approach your problem.

Because of the lack of details in your email regarding the process that was used when she moved with the child, read Drano Series #57 on my website, falseallegations.com. In that complaint, I outline what Mass. statutes require. For instance, your consent and an evidentiary hearing.

Then you also have her constant moving making things unstable (uprooting) and inconsistent for the child. The age of the child is significant here. You do not say how old the child is.

There are many questions that must be answered. All too many to be addressed in emails.

Good luck.
