What rights if any does a male have who has been detained as an illegal immigrant but has a baby in the US. He is currently in custody of border patrol

That is not a question that can be answered without more details about the detainee such as how long they have been here, if they are married, do they have a criminal record. Anyone in detention who would like to try and stay in the U.S. would need an attorney working on their behalf.
