Lumbosacral Injury

Office swivel chair broke went over backwards injured back have had two cortisone injections with little relief. I am 69 years of age and collecting SS although I am a full time employee covered by workmans compensation. I had planned on working until age 73; however the back pain is increasing steadily and am I entitled to W/C??

From what you say, it seems to me you have had a work injury, and therefore you are entitled to benefits. But I cannot tell you from this brief question exactly what your benefits would be. First thing, tell your employer and its insurer what happened and the medical care you have had. Ask your doctor about work limitations, and have them put in writing. If you are dissatisfied with how the employer/insurer deals with you, contact the state worker's comp office for help.
