Legal Question in Banking Law in Maryland

My ex-husband's wife has forged his checks and emptied his bank account. As a result, a check that he wrote to me has bounced, causing my outstanding checks to bounce. Has his wife broken the law? Could I sue her? Do I have any recourse that I could bring against her? She has caused me a lot of inconvenience, cost me money in overdraft charges, and possibly hurt my credit. What can I do to bring charges on her?

He should file criminal charges for theft against her. You can sue her for your damages. Hire an attorney to help you.
