can you sue a newspaper for misprinting a dollar amount in your ad?

You'd be wasting your time and money. Just get them to print a correction at no cost to you, and inform your customers that it was a misprint and what the real price was. Legally, you're not bound to sell the product or service at that price unless you agree to it once the customer tries to buy it.
