Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland

Can i write my own will or do I need a lawyer

Can i write a will myself rather than hiring a lawyer to do it? how would I write a will? Where would my will be kept and does it have to be filed somewhere official? i'm discussing a regular last will and testament

Yes. Family Lawyer software from Quicken will let you write a will valid in all 50 states. But you wont have the advice of an attorney, and that may be the most critical thing you're missing.

Best of luck to you.

Check with the Register of Wills in your County's Circuit Court, and they will have some information for you about filing. - Michael Worsham
