Legal Question in Construction Law in Maryland

A contractor owes me money because I paid him for a job and he never finished it, I had to hire another contractor to finish so I am out the money. I did take the contractor to district court where a judgment was entered and a lien put on him - but this does not get me my money - is there anyway i can retrieve the money that is owed me?

Yes there are various ways you can recover the money, including filing judgment liens against the contractor's assets. Hiring a Maryland attorney will be the quickest, most efficient way of doing so. Some law firms will only charge you if they recover, and then, only a percentage of such recovery.

Best of luck.*******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
