Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

is this breach of contract

if a credit card company agrees to a payment assistance plan for 6 months allowing you to make a lower monthly payment and sends you a copy of the terms of the plan and upon agreement by both parties payments are automatically deducted monthly from checking account for 3 months-----no payments were missed----then at the 4th month credit card company charges off account and sends you to a collection agency but are still deducting payments from checking account. Now I'm forced to pay a collection agency. I did nothing wrong to breach the payment assistance plan. Is this breach of contract by creditor?

It depends on the terms of the written agreement. You should consult with a Maryland lawyer and bring that agreement with you and any other documentation regarding your situation. This is not the proper forum for this question, as we do not have access to your agreement.

Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
