I think you should retain a Maryland real estate attorney to review BEFORE you sign or disclose anything.

Best of luck.******The above is for information purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******

If the house is only in your name, it is not his asset and need not be disclosed (actually, he has to respond truthfully to the questions unless they are objectionable, so if asked who owns the home where he lives, he may need to disclose it, but the home is safe from execution on the judgment).

I strongly recommend you retain an attorney to assist you in answering these interrogatories. The answers will be used by the bank to determine what assets or income you and your husband have so it can place a lien or garnishment on them. Hiring an attorney should not be expensive for this and may help avoid a very costly mistake. Please email me at [email protected] -- if I can't help you, I can refer you to someone in your area who can.
