Responsibility of spouse for separately held credit accounts

Can a spouse be held financially responsible for seperately held credit accounts of the other spouse... Not joint accounts, accounts held only in the name of one spouse.

A spouse is not responsible for the debts of their spouse that are not joint accounts.
