Summons to appear in court

I ahve two quistion First, I recieved a summons to appear in court from a collection agency. I only want proof that this is my account will they have to provide somthing with my signiture on it ? because when I asked them they only sent me a computerized statement.

Second, I am married and this debt was made before we were married if I have to pay will it effect my husband scredit or can they garnish his wadges. please help I

If the claim is for over $2500, you can serve interrogatories and make them tell you before trial what documents and evidence they have. At trial, they can use evidence stored electronically, but they need to authenticate it. But they can call you as a witness, so you can't just tell them "prove it" if you know it was your account - they'll put you on the stand and you will have to admit it.

As for your husband, no, he is not liable and they can't garnish his wages. It should not go on his credit.
