Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

assault

i hit a window trying to get a detectvie's attention and the window broke (unbreakable glass, i am 6ft 150lbs). it was all an accident but the glass hit theofficer and now i am charged w/ assault 2 and mal. dest. i applied for a pd on 11-24-08 my case is 2-6-09 and was paneled out and have never been contacted by anyone and no appearance filed, we keep calling almost every day and are told its handled, but i have yet to speak to anyone what do i do?

You shouldn't have to deal with that. If you have questions, you should be able to reach your lawyer, even if they are provided by the PD. I would call the PDs office and complain. If you still can't get help, I'd be glad to give you a free consultation and if possible, represent you for a reasonable fee.
