criminal drug charge
is it right for the police to impound my brother's car if he was driving and i was arrested for 1gram of marijuana and he was released on the spot because he had no drug relations, but the police stated that the car had fraudulent temporary tags in which was given to him by the dealer whom he purchased the car from?

When a car has fraudulent tags, they can't just let you leave with the car. So, yes, they can impound it, regardless of the marijuana you may or may not have had.
