Can a defendant with a schedule court date leave the state?

Unless the terms of your pre trial release specifically say otherwise, merely because you have a scheduled trial date, does not prevent you from leaving the State. However, if you fail to appear on the date and at the time scheduled for your trial, a warrant will be issued by the Court for your arrest.
